Nurses,CNAs, or nursing students only:How do you get over by grossed out with cleaning up poop from patients? |
Unless you are a health professional or have expertise in healthcare please dont answer this. I am tired of getting smart a.s.s. answers and if I receive any I will report the abuse. Sorry guys I just want a serious answer and I have been receiving awful ones when I have a serious question. Ok so back to the question, to complete any nursing program its something you are going to have to deal with at some time and I was just wondering what everyone else did to deal with cleaning poop off of patients. I get so grossed out by it I almost puke.It isnt the smell that bothers me, I breathe through my mouth so I don't have to smell it. Its the sight of it that disgusts me. Any suggestions on dealing with it ?What worked for you guys? Honestly you never really get over it, you just get use to it. BUT REMEMBER as gross as it may seem ALWAYS breath through your mouth. Block off air flow through your nose and breath through your mouth. You cant taste it and you cant smell it Ive been doing this for a while now and you just get use to it. |

If this program is anything like the dental hygienists program that I will be starting- they are going to ask you to complete a comprehensive physical exam. Once that is completed the doctor will ... are u at a community college or univ. check out the other health programs. like radiology sonography dental hygen. etcc.....all pay pretty good....wht bout clinical lab science...generaly a bachelo... I've never heard of a nursing program requiring nursing math before entering the nursing program either, but perhaps they're pre-screening so they only accept those capable of understandi... they will probably have few applicants so get ready to work. ... |
