Is there a two year program after completing a BA in nursing that would be worth it in the long run?

I have an associates in Skilled trade Electrician.

Many schools have what is called a 2nd Degree BSN. Basically, you enter the Bachelors of Science in Nursing, but you enter as a Junior. Your general requirements are taken care of because you already have a BA or a BS (in any subject! It doesn't matter if you have a BA in Anthropology).
You go straight into nursing classes, and at the end, you are a RN with a BSN.

Now, if you have an associates, then you can enter the program as a transfer student. You will still have to take a few general requirement classes, but you don't have to start from scratch (classes such as English and mathematics usually transfer with no problems).

If you go to school full time, you may finish the BSN in 4 or 5 semesters.

I don't know where you are. The BSN program I'm most familiar with is the one from Marymount University (see link below).
See if there is a program like this in your area.

if you are thinking of taken another 2 years of school after you BA in Nursing, why not just go another 4 and become a doctor?

You will become a Rn, if is something you want to you should go for it. But remember I think you have to start from scratch because your first BA dosenot have nothing to do with nursing.
