Has anybody been accepted into a nursing program with a misdemeanor on their criminal record?

because i have a misdemeanor of petit theft on my criminal record and i want to know if they will still accept me.

If the crimin al record was as a juvenile, then your record will be sealed and they can't look at it. If it was as an adult it would depend on the circumstances. It is not a crime of drug abuse or moral terpitude; so as long as it is disclosed you could have a chance of getting into nursing school
