Film school or nursing then film school? |
i am currently going for lvn. well im actually getting my prerequisites to get into the lvn program. i have always wanted to be a filmaker. i have big great i deas i would love to turn into movies. but several years ago i got my cna which is one step under lvn. last year i was trying to get into film school but it was really complicated and expensive. its mydream though. so i thought maybe i should go for my lvn now that im already a cna and make some good money that way and then go to film school. well i am going thru the prerequsites and im 2 weeks in or 3 not sure but i am having trouble . so now im thinking maybe i should just go for my dream and that is film. im confused is my point. what do you feel i should do.? some of my friends tell me to get my lvn and then i have others who tell me dude quit wasting time dont be scared and just go for film. Ultimately it is your choice, but here's my opinion. Do the nursing thing first and then go for your dream of film. My husband has the same dream and got his degree in film and video production, but it is a very very tough field to get into. At least if you continue on with the nursing thing, you have a security blanket per say. It's something you can do even on a part time basis while you are in school for film and then when you're trying to make it big. Good luck with everything! |
