To go to school to help with the old people in nursing home? |
i want to work with the elderly people to take care of them iam looking for a school that teach nursing just to help them in bed give them medication help bath them Find a certified nursing assistants program. Or go to LPN school. Call around I am sure you have many in your area, they are everywhere. Thank you for wanting to take care of our elderly! Talk to a guidance councillor at school and ask what the qualifications are. You can take classes at your local community college, I've thought about this too. You could become a Nurses aide and work in nursing homes. There are different levels of nurses aides.. I believe they are termed CNA (Certified Nurses aide) and different levels.. some are more schooling. Actually it's generally just one semester ,,unless you want to go further with it. good luck! I think it's great.. something I've thought about myself |
