I need some ideas for giving my daughter who is graduating from nursing school a party.?

Does she have a bunch of friends? (I don't know what that # is) What do her and her friends like to do?

My parents threw me a party whenever I graduated from Undergrad school and Grad school. My parents and I threw a party for my exwife whenever she graduated from nursing school.

All 3 parties included: loads of good food, all of our family and friends that cared, keg beer, boxed wine and music. We had a DJ for my first graduation, but for my second and hers...we just had a good system and our best friends made up some great mixed CD's. 2 of the 3, we just friend fix, and had fix'ns. My first was at my parents house, under a party tent out back. Her's was at my house under a party tent. My MBA graduation was in December so we got a little hall that held 150 or so peeps and used it. The tent parties were really better though.

Graduating from College is a huge deal. Nursing school is hard schooling. Trust me, I have a freaking MBA, and throughout the years helping my wife study for nursing tests, I determined it was every bit as difficult or more.

I am not a parent so I don't know, but I would have to believe that having a child graduate from college is a crowning achievement, especially with a wonderful, successful skillset like nursing. Parents, especially of daughters, are always willing to make a big deal of a wedding or a child birth. However, graduations do not get as much play. I think that is crazy. Any idiot can get married or have a kid. Graduating from college is a true accomplishment.

I have no idea what your daughter, your friends, her friends, family, etc. are in to. In my situation, my group of people love to get together, hang out, visit, spend time together, play games, eat good food and have cocktails so that is what we did.

It means a great deal to anyone for many people to recognize an outstanding accomplishment. What your daughter did is an outstanding accomplishment. She worked through so much to set herself up for a lifetime of success. That is a huge accomplishment for her, but equally as big of a success for you and her father, grandparents, friends and anyone else who influenced her life. Get everyone together and share in that moment. It will be something none of you ever forget.

Great deal. Many girls in your daughters situation take the "woe is me" attitude and make up so many excuses not to be successful. She sacraficed a great deal for herself and to better the life of her daughter! Report It

How old is she? need a lil more info...what is she into? Trust me when I tell you dont make it a nursing theme (she's sick of it and nervous enough about taking her state boards as it is).....find out what she's into....

Why have we allowed the graduation from nursery school to become an issue? Trust me the child will not remember.

where are you I will be glad to arrange it
