I am about to enter my last semester in nursing school. Anyone have some survival stratgies?

Congratulations on your success thus far. You must be doing lots of things right to have made it to this point in nursing school. Just keep on going, get a good night's sleep, eat right, and do your best. I found it helped me to study with other students - it makes the material more alive and it is easier to remember material you have have been a part of.

I am still getting my pre nursing stuff done to get on a waiting list. Look how far you have come you can see the end I'm sure. Just don't run you might trip and that would be bad. Study for you tests and work hard. Remember when its over what you are going to have and all the hard work you've done. I just had a friend that finished in Pol Sci major and the last semester was bad alot of support was needed for her. I hope your friends and family are there to support you. For my friend i would always tell her you are almost there get your nose to the grind. I think when we get to the end we start to relax and that's were some mess up so stick it through you will get done and the you will be a Nurse to join the work field.

Stay focus and try not to get senioritis...just because you will graduate soon doesnt mean you cant still fail. As hard as it is....dont use up your allowance of absences just because you didnt feel like going to class...I have personal experience with this....my last quarter of LPN school I was careless with my absences then when I only had a couple left i pick up pink eye from one of my patients at clinicals......believe me it is more contagious than you realize. I did manage to clear the pink eye up over the weekend and the first two days of the next week by wednasday my clinical day i was allowed to go back to the hospital for clinicals. I was very lucky that my case of pink was mild because if it had been worse i would not have been able to graduate.
