Would being a NICU nurse extern help me get a job in the NICU when I graduate nursing school? |
I am not going to get a job at the hospital giving me the externship, I am trying to get a job in a different state, but I am wondering if the externship experience would look good on my resume? Is this a student nurse internship, or a RN externship? of course it will. but..as a nurse you probably will just have to take what you can get, until you get your foot in the door. You'd be more likely to get the job over someone else who didn't have the experience, so yes it would help you, or at least it couldn't hurt! They do look at this stuff. |
