I WAS CALLED FOR AN INTERVIEW FOR NURSING SCHOOL for L.P.N. they said I would be there for 3 hours why would?

I be there for 3 hours? and do I have a good chance in getting in I have been a Medical Assistant for 20 years

20 years? WOW that's a lot. Heck, Id' hire you.

I'm not sure about the medical profession, but in other industries, interviews can easily last the whole day. They'll supply a sandwich for lunch if it does last that long. They typically have interviews with many different people so they all get a chance to feel you out with different types of questions.

They may also have some practical portion where they want to see you in action, and such an activity might take a while also.

You asked two questions:
1. "why would I be there for 3 hours?" - You will probably speak with a number of people while you are there. Each will have different questions for you based on what they do for the company.
2. "do I have a good chance in getting in" - Hard to say without knowing the requirements for the job, all of your qualifications and the other applicants for the job.

Good luck!

You are going to be talking to a lot of different people and going through various screening processes. Your experience will definitely work in your favor although won't be the only factor. Good luck
