Anyone having trouble getting through nursing school?

I am reapeting my third semester this fall and I am really not looking forward to goin back. Any tips?

I have been a licensed practical nurse for 14 years now. I decided to go back to school an extend my educationin nursing. I had to repeat my first semester. At first its a let down and you beat yourself up. But in this case you have to become optumistic. You must realize that at least you have another shot at it. Imagine those who failed twice at a nursing course and is kicked out of the program indefinite. Take this as a learning tool. You alredy have done this course and now you know your weak points.Try and stay focus. I know from experience you can kinda get burnt out. Remember that you don't have far to go. Stay focus and realize that there is definetly a light at the end of the tunnel and you bound to see it real soon.Nursing have so many tremendous rewards. Just to beable to make someone smile at the end of the day, not only makes his or her day but, your's as well.Look at it from this stand point. When you do go back and complete your third semester hey, one down and remember one to go. Be the best you can be. Don't lose focus. If you don't gear youself up to go back when the time come and you know on that day (I'm guessing May 2007sometime you could of been graduating) your going to kick yourself. Hang in there, you don't have far to go.Look at the ones just starting. They have a long journey and road ahead of them. I am now in my last semester and I am looking very much forward to completing it. Quiters never win and winner never quit. Nothing beats a failure but a try. I wish you all the best
