Can you take nursing school online??

I am from Canada and my mom is a nurse. I have talked to her about the kinds of schooling to take. She says to go to a good college because career colleges and online schools will not give you enough training and knowledge to get hired as a nurse. She says that the people who have not gone to a good school have not found work and get turned down by employers as a result of their education. So many end up going back to school while others find a new career path. Try talking to a registered nurse about schooling options and if you don't know anyone ask your friends and family they may know someone who you can speak to.
Be careful allot of schools will just take your money and leave you with minimal knowledge and not prepare you for the long run.
