I'm in nursing school and I start clinicals tomorrow, I am so nervous. Any advice floor nurses? Relax....release...BREATHE! Keep yourself open to learning new information. Relax--it'll be great. Don't forget to carry a pen on you at all times because you may have to do some charting. Be friendly and open and you'll do great. Every nurse had to start somewhere... Congratulations on this big step. you will be fine just do your best and ask lots of questions. don't go in there acting like you know it all. just get a good nights sleep, eat a good breakfast, and you will do just fine. |
