HELP! Nursing school!!!?

I just got back from the first day and i'm overwhelmed as hell. I knew it was going to be hard, i had a good idea of how much my life was going to change in good and challenging ways but it just smacked me in the face today and now i've fully grasped it.

I have this anxiety in my stomach and i'm trying to keep positive.

HELP! :)

I am in Nursing School now i will finish in August. I remember my first day they pretty much told us to forget about our lives and families that we would eat sleep and breath nursing school for the next 2 years but i promise it gets better. It will be well worth it in the end and when you start doing clinicals and working on the hospital its a lot of fun still stressful but fun. Just hang in there there is a light at the end of the tunnel. GOOD LUCK!!

Stay focused! I know it seems like alot but just be confident and know that if you study you can do it, and it will all pay off in the end......I promise!!

I'm in nursing school, stick in there because it will fade. It seems hard now, but wait until you're on placement in a hospital before you know what nursing is really like.

Most of my mentors have been really accommodating and, although they can be busy, they do appreciate it's a very nerve wracking thing to do.

first day of class or first day of clinicals?? Either way, don't worry about it, you just had the educational equivalent of eating two Thanksgiving dinners in a row. Give yourself some time to digest the info thrown at you today, give up any idea whatsoever of a social life, get off of the computer, get hyper-organized, and keep up with it. You'll get through it with focus and discipline. The end is worth the means. You can do it!

my daughters starts soon,good luck
