Will graduate from nursing school soon in the Philippines and want to enetr US for work..? |
what is the possible way to enter to US and work as a nurse??is it nesesarry to take moard exam from my country or its ok to just wait and take NCLEX in US? any agency who can help you have to pass the Nursing board in the Philippines first and get at least a year of experience then you look for agency that hires nurse to find you an employer in the US and you are still required to take the NCLEX here. Sorry, I don't really now the answer to your question, but I can tell you this...THERE IS A TREMENDOUS SHORTAGE OF NURSES IN THIS COUNTRY! I live in the Northeast (New York/Vermont) and nurses are protesting in Albany, New York because they are being forced to work mandatory overtime! Salaries are great! your country like the us. dont worry. To obtain a visitor visa (for tourism, medical treatment, and certain kinds of business activities), the process may be relatively simple. To obtain other types of visas, to study or work, for example, more forms and documentation will be required. Individual experience in obtaining a visa can therefore range from relatively fast and simple to relatively complex and time consuming. You can either go through an agency or have the actually recruiting staff "intive" you over . YOu will probably take another exam here in the US . In the meantime you may end up working as a nurse assitant. |
