Nursing school/Physician Assistant question...different nursing paths?

I have a BA in French. I want to change my career path, and I have always been interested in becoming a PA. How long does it take? I did not have any science credits from my undergraduate. Can I use my liberal arts credits to shorten my BSN requirement? How much longer does it take to be a PA or possibly CRNA (another interest of mine)? Thank you for answering my questions.

I cannot answer the P.A. question except to say you don't take a nursing degree to become a P.A.

There are many universities these days that will offer a short BSN program to those who already have a bachelor's degree. If you want to be a CRNA, you need your BSN first. Then it is one year more after that to become a CRNA.

Remember if you are interested in the medical role, there is also a surgical first assist job, or OR tech that doesnt' require Nursing school. Nursing school is to train you to be a Nurse, not a poor man's doctor.
