No. They look at convictions other than traffic for most jobs. The exception is DUI, which may count against him.

If he was given a ticket, he was charged with the offense.

Your husband should take a defensive driving course as soon as the points get onto his license. It will erase a certain number of points. He should also settle down on driving.

His insurance may go up significantly when the insurance company gets wind of this. If he is below 25, he can expect a very large increase or to be dropped at some point.

better watch out, felonies are not accepted for the job you are looking to get into.

They will affect him if he is applying for any kind of government job, but i don't think for a civil job. But, it will definetely affect him if he wants to be a nurse at any detention facility, or prison, other than that he should be fine. GOOD LUCK!!
