I am thinking of going to Nursing School... If I am choosen to go...?

Thing is, I would have to drive for 1 hour to get to school and spend about $80 a week in gas... To YOU is it worth it? Should I do it?

You need to weigh what you have to do now against the result in the end. Can you afford it? Some people spend much more than that for college. If that is what you want to do with your life, and you can afford it, go for it. There is nothing like going to work and enjoying what you do, regardless of the pay.

I think that in the long run, it will definitely be worth it.

I would do it if you have a heart for the field. Gas money shouldn't be a factor when it comes to pursuing a dream. Do you want to be a nurse? Does medicine excite you? If yes then go for it!

YES BUT IF YOU ARE GOING TO GO FOR NURSING GO FOR RN IN THE END IT WILL ALL PAY OFF GOOD LUCK

If you're thinking about being a nurse because it is your dream and passion and NOT doing so would make you feel like you Gave Up your dream -- don't let anything stop you!! Where there's a will there's a way! YOU CAN DO IT!

If your reason to be a nurse is more about finances and security than what fulfills your HEART, why go to the trouble? You'll burn yourself out to reach your goal and then suffer career burn out within 5 years.

Follow your heart and let nothing stop you!

If it is your dream career, go for it...I am presently in nursing school, it is very demanding and I ask myself if I am cut out for it. If you have wanted this for a while, 80 bucks a week is nothing. If this is not a dream of yours, think about it real hard-you have to have it in you, (not doing it for the money)

I'm in the same situation. I live an hour away from the school I'm about to start and I'm going over my finances right bout' now to see if it is affordable. Whateva you choose good luck!
