I went to a nursing school interview and I didn't get picked so can someone tell me why?

I didn't get chosen these were the questions how should i have replied: 1- how far do you want to go with nursing 2- why do you want to go to nursing school 3- what are your strength areas? 4-what are your weaknesses?

I think the answers you gave are more important than the questions. There are a limited number of positions in a class. There are many factors in the decision. How were you dressed for the interview? What was your overall attitude? Sometimes we send messages that aren't the way they are meant.

Noone can tell you why you didn't get picked except for the person who interviewed you.

perhaps your grades and your score on the nursing exam had something to do with it?

Maybe they found someone more qualified then you...I dont know...Are you really expirienced?...

other people were more impressive than you were

Shouldn't you be talking to the people that interviewed you? You can ask for an exit interview... find out where you went wrong. How you can do better next time.

And ask yourself those questions again...if you can't honestly answer them then that is why you didn't get picked.

Perhaps affirmative action. Perhaps they met their quota, and just interviewed you to be polite. Perhaps they didn't think you were really serious. Could be any number of things.

sometimes nursing schools have a limited number of spaces that they can put students in the class. maybe its just because this was your first time to do an interview and some of the ones chosen have tried before and didn't get accepted. Keep trying if that is what you really want to do. don't ever give up. i received the job that i have now almost a year ago, but it took me seven years to get it. I never gave up on it and now i have it. hang in there and good things is bound to happen for you in the future. lets just hope that it don't take you seven years like it did me. good luck on your future endevors.
