How to apply for nursing school? |
I have done some research but am still confused about the admission process to school of nursing. http://www.nursing.uconn.edu/index.php?o... Let me see if i can help you. I am a freshman at WSU (wichita) and i am also majoring in nursing. I was really confused too. Once your excepted to the university you start all your general ed classes, or pre-req's. That is usually done your freshman year, and even depending on the college your sophmore year as well. But just because you accepted into the university does NOT mean that your automatically in the nursing school. Usually nursing schools are competitive and look at a students GPA, which usually has to be about 3.0. After or when your close to finishing all ur gen. edu classes, apply to the nursing school then. I hope that was clear enough. Good luck. PS: talk to your advisor or counselor about the classes you need to take and your other classes, they will probably help more than i can. go to a school counselor |
