Nursing School??

How much do nurses make +5 years?
Is it worth it to go to Johns Hopkins University to become a nurse? (Tuition is $35,000 approx.)
Does it matter if one goes to a prestigious school like JHU or a not-so-great state school (for incredibly cheap) in the long run for nursing?

My wife is a nurse. Nurses make different amounts according to the area they are in. The best part of being a nurse is they can move anywhere they want and there will be a job waiting for them,"anywhere in the world," Nurses make upward of 40,000 and can make as much as 150,000 a year depending on how much schooling they take and what area of nursing they are in.
A degree is a degree, as long as it is recognized by the board in your state

It really does not matter where you go to school. The colleges teach the same thing basically. The main goal is to pass the NLEX nursing boards. I make 50,000 a year but i live in South Carolina and the cost of living is so cheap. Check out Clemson.I went to a tech school, got a job and let the hospital pay for my BSN. The pay difference between ADN and BSN is only about 25 cents per hour just out of school. if you want to advance get you BSN.Go to the school you can afford.
