Im Looking for a Decent Job Im 23 years old with three children my wife works for Faa Im Recieving SSI.? |
I recived a kidney Transplant last march and am ready to work, I dont have much job experience or training. I'm Looking for a job that will better our lives, but, Im not to fond of "customer serive" Why don't you go to State of Vocational Rehabiliation , look under of your state and look vocational rehabilitation or department of rehabiliation.? ( Im not sure where you live) They have lots of resources and they can help you find a job because of your disability. Also, just make that you don't lose SSI. YOu make up to SSI limits. Their services are free.... The ideal job for you is working in notary centers, library, etc. Local or State police department That's a tough one due to your medical history. You probably can't continue with nursing since it requires lifting people and other heavy things. Microsoft word will get you data entry positions but maybe you could get into school and learn IT or CAD. Both require minimal schooling (usually 18 months for an Associate's Degree at a Technical College). Student loans and grants are available which you can take advantage of while you don't have to work. You would also be working toward your future financial betterment which will help with the boredom of being home all the time. I'm sure your wife would support you for the short time it takes to complete one of these programs and you'd be able to get a good paying job when it was over. In 2008, you could celebrate the 2 year anniversary of your transplant by graduating college. I'm becoming involved with a very advanced and quickly growing business. I think I might be able to help you get up on your feet. Let me know if your interested. here is my email address. squidleypie15@hotmail.com mail man.. sort mail.. or something else at the post office.. pays realllly good.. & if you just sort mail wont even have to see customers.. lol |
