Just looking for some opinions...?

I am 26 years old and never met my biological father, I know who he is and he knows who I am but we have never spoken. I would just like to talk to him once, ask some questions, like why was he never in my life, I know it is not because he did not want kids because he has 5 sons of his own (I have met one of them). I know I don't need him and that I am better off without him, but I still feel hurt in someway. I am doing just fine without him, I am a mother of 2 and am in nurses training, and I have a great family, Im just not sure why I feel this way.

You just want some questions answered and you have every right to have them answered. If it bothers you daily then you should ask your father for a meeting to get those answers. Just keep in mind, he may not feel the same way and may refuse to meet with you. You may also be disappointed after meeting him. Just guard your heart and know it may be a hurtful experience but in the end at least you will know one way or the other.

Best of luck to you, hon!

you want answers, so you feeling this way is perfectly normal. You should try to sit him down and possibly get answers to your questions.

U know something ...u need to go talk to him..No matter what it takes talk to him and get it over with..God willing, u wont regret it.
Dont expec t ur father to undertsand and read ur mind..Maybe he thinks u dont want to talk and is ofcourse to embarrased to answer himself...i mean to speak up..he might be scared hell not be given a chance by u. I am sure that deep down inside he himslef is terribly hurt.
Best of luk.

Let it go.

Leave all that hurt to God to handle. He will and he is more willing and capable of handling it than you are.

Once you have turned it over to him move forward with you're life and feel rest assured that someday you're father will answer to God for all he has done.

If you feel you won't be happy until you meet him and talk with him do it expecting the worst and then if something good comes out of it fine. But if you go in expecting good you may be very disappointed.

If you have met one of his son's is there a chance you could feel him out before you confront the man that never acknowledged you? His son could possibly answer a lot of questions for you instead of you beating yourself up everyday about it.
