Do you think the sensation of pins & needles is painful? |
During nurses training we discussed how people define pain and use different terms in describing their pain. In a class of 20 I was the only person that thought that pins & needles was not painful, rather uncomfortable. I thought they were taking the pss but since then discovered I had an illness that limited my ability to experience pain. 5 years after finishing my training I was diagnosed with a abdominal tumour. It was a fluid filled cyst that extended to half the size of my left abdomen. I had alot of problems and went for a barium meal which showed it on the x-ray. I agree with you its just uncomfortable, and i dont have the illness, because i experience pain, how did you find out about your illness and what is it called? |
