I want to scrub in and I am an RN currently training in the OR in Milwaukee, WI.?

I want to scrub and am training in an OR that doesn't seem to let too many RN's scrub in, just circulate. Where can I work that will support my goal to become a registered nurse first assistant?

it's not a ? of liability, it's a ? of shortage of nurses....you must have a nurse to circulate, you do not need to be a nurse to scrub, but get to a hosp that will let you learn and once you have a dr behind you, you are good to go.

most dont let you scrub in due to the legal liability
take your ACLS and apply for the position in question
they will train you (hands on)
