I want to be a nurse but have tried 2 times to do the training but found it too hard should i try again ?? if you put your mind to it, you can do anything! anything worth having can sometimes be difficult to obtain, but you can succeed. what's hard? you have to train to do just about any occupation. first of just wanting to be a nurse signifies to me you were blessed with the gift of caring for people. so you passed people 101. second, you will have to focus on your education. their will be distractions but you must maintain your focus and consistency to achieve your goal of being a nurse. if you have family, you will have to develop a plan with them that will enable you to have time to study, pow-wow with your fellow classmates and downtime. you can try as many times as you want until you win. their are no losers in the "game of life". you can do this. if you really want it you can. i have two degrees and working an a THIRD one. i have a husband, three children and a job that's stressful. don't tell me its hard. i once read a poem written by Clemente Stone that states, "if you think you can, you can!" go for it! you have nothing to lose and all to gain. GOOD LUCK! What exactly are you finding too hard? Also, how old were you on your first attempt, and how old are you now? Nursing is a wonderful profession, but you really want to be one you must have alot of compassion for people. I have Been an RN for a few years and love it, taking care of Patients with Aids in the best area I have worked in as a Nurse, All patients are special, but the love I have for the area I work in is unmeasurable. My best friend is a nurse...finally. She always dreamed of being one, and it took her three tries before she actually succeeded. The coursework is rough, so it is best to have a group of people to study with, practice with. Working in the hospital is not so bad when you know your stuff, open your mind, and turn on the caring. Whether it is for the elderly, AIDS Patients, babies and children, or just patients. You work long hours, just giving of yourself. If it is something that you really want, make sure your mind is open, and you have people to study with, and endure the training with. Just remember, that the world needs many nurses now, and there's hardly a closed door in that profession, but you have to be willing to go through the coursework and training, because you -to some degree- can affect a patient's outcome. It is not easy, so do not expect it to be, just roll with the punches and get it right. Good Luck. Never give up on your dreams! get inspired from an ant who try till it gets success.... |
