Nursing homes in San Antonio....?

I'm new here and trying to find a nursing home near where I live.....(off Medical Drive) I want to try and get my CNA and work there....also if anyone knows of a home or establishment that will pay for my CNA training that would be even better.....I have the phone book out but I don't recognize these roads....

If you go to Yahoo local and search for nursing homes near 78229 zipcode, you will find numerous nursing homes in your area.

As far as a skilled nursing facility paying for CNA training, I have not heard of any that have done that in San Antonio. You could contact each of the SNFs close to you and ask if are hiring. It may be possible that if you got on staff performing another job, they might assist you in paying for school if you proved to be a valuable employee. Many nursing positions will help CNAs become LVNs and LVNs become RNs.
