Can i get help to pay my mortgage while training to be a nurse?

I am a single parent so i have no other support and live in Scotland. thankyou

Don`t think the mortgage laws are different in England and Scotland. You will have been awarded the mortgage on your earnings and your ability to repay. Sorry, but if you have gone into nursing after taking out the mortgage and your income has substantially dropped, other than taking in a lodger or a second job there is not a lot you can do as far as the repayments are concerned, however, consult the CAB, you may be able to claim council tax rebate, due to your low earnings as well,as single person occupancy rebate. There are so many "hidden" benefits that are available, even to people who are working, but on a low wage.
Congratulations, I have every respect for people who enter the nursing profession, keep at it and you will get there.

Can't really answer that, but your mortgage company may let you just pay interest until you qualify.
