What is meant by "Satellite Training" ?

what is meant by " satellite training " in the fllowing contst : Nursing Child Assessment Satellite Training (NCAST)

it means the school has a plan to teach students who are located at distant locations, through internet, correspondence, or interactive tv with partner schools. Most schools are doing it through iternet these days.

I think it means you aren't on the normal campus or you could be on site at a hospital instead of in a classroom.

When I worked at the hospital they had satellite training, but all it meant was that you were not on your own,you had to follow or follow someone.More or less like a hands on training. This could be something different.

It means training at a smaller facillity ,and not on the main campus.
