Cultural Awareness what training do nurses recieve? |
what does the training cover? There is some minimal training in actual nursing school which I don't clearly remember. Some places of employment have their own cultural awareness training though. The hospital I work for had a full 3 day training and was very comprehensive. It was given to all nursing, clerical staff and doctors. It included understanding other cultural practices, how to interact and behave when dealing with other cultures and we even did some roleplaying which was fun. |
