Training for teachers and nurses? |
Are there programs out there that offer free, on the job training for such jobs as teachers and nurses? I would think there would be since there is such a shortage of them. Yes, but I don't know where you are. In southern california there are several teacher intern programs run by the county. They send you to school for free once or twice a week and you start teaching right away. The catch is you must either be 1) bilingual 2) teaching math/science in high school AND 3) you must go to any school in the county they need you. So, they educate you for free and pay you a teacher salary for two years before you are accredited, however they own you and can send you wherever they like. Try the following websites: |
