What do you learn in a Nurses Aide training program? |
I will be taking the program soon.I live in Ohio I was just wondering what is covered in the program. I will be taking classes to become an RN and I have to take the NATP class before I start my nursing classes just wanted to know what is covered in the class both in class and clinical. in the nurses aide part you learn the proper way to bathe a patient, how to make hospital beds, personal hygein for your patients, the proper way to change linen on a occupied bed and an unoccupied bed, diaper care,etc..also how to clean up the messes such as bowel movements..it is very educational.i am a cna and i love it.i was going to be a lpn but with being a cna i get more one on one with my patients and they learn to trust you most..good luck.. |
