Does 'social care' comprise occupations for which there is professional training, eg counselling, nursing? |
as well as social work? My impression is that 'social care' refers to admin and other non-specialist support of older and disabled people, in a) residential homes, and b) on a visitation basis (visiting those requiring the service, in their own homes).
