I continue to have tightness in my chest & my last chemo treatment was 3 mos. ago. I knwo this is chemo?

related because I felt the same thing, only more severe, after a reaction to the 2nd treatment in which the oncology nurses told me they were "pushing the drugs too fast" & was the cause for the reaction. I have called the on-call nurse to my oncologist's office & she said she would check with the DR. & call me back. She has not returned my call since we spoke on Monday. I'm afraid I have long-term damage & they aren't taking it seriously. What or who should I contact next?

Call them back!!! Now...don't let this go...
They have many people to deal with, you have to fight for yourself.. don't stop calling until you get an answer that makes sense...or go in and confront them..

Call again and be stern! If they don't call back, go sit in the doctors office until they see you. Please, Please be very pushy, this is your life you are talking about.

Keep calling until they they let you talk to someone that will give you the answers you want.

FYI taking Coenzyme Q10 mg daily is critical if you are taking chemotherapy.

Call and ask to speak directly to your doctor. Whenever we have had questions we've never had trouble speaking to the doctor or nurses. Maybe you need a new doctor.

I have no idea what would cause the tightness in the chest, but even if it is not chemo related you need to have it investigated thoroughly. Be persistent. This is your health and your life.

Good luck.
