Nurse technician interview questions ? |
I have an interview today for a nurse tech position in oncology/med-surg. This is my first interview ever and I was curious to know what type of questions do they ask?? What do you like the best about being a nurse-tech? Why did you choose to work here? Why did you choose to work in the field of nursing? When you are faced with a challenge, how do you meet it? If you have to do more than one thing at once what do you do? Give an example of how you have worked as part of a team? They may ask you to describe your strengths and weaknesses? They might ask things like why do you want this job? Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Do you have any experience in the health field? They want to know that you are going to come to work, show up on time, not cause problems on the floor, that you will be competent in your skills, that you will not kill or harm anyone, and will take good care of their patients. They want to know that you will be willing to learn, that you have the ability to learn, and will be able to follow orders and not try to take over in your first week. |

I wouldn't want to work in orthopedics (I have a *thing* about broken bones, it totally creeps me out), nor would I want to work in the ER, and I have vowed never to work in a nursing home (go... "Keep 'em bouncing" ?? "S.O.B. - Save Our Breasts" "Sit. Stay. Heal" with a picture of a dog and a pink ribbon "I support the cure, I walk." thanx for the mammories ...Call them back!!! Now...don't let this go... They have many people to deal with, you have to fight for yourself.. don't stop calling until you get an answer that makes sense...or go in ... EVERYONE is frustrated with our health care system!! It is irrelevant to what 'level' you are associated in & the frustration often leads to 'a no care' attitude. YOU must ... without question. not only is it offensive, he is highly misinformed. his premise is almost hitler like in his genocidical approach to this disease. of course if karma actually exists, we all kn... Write to your congressman/woman and demand national health care system, one to the White House also, although I doubt very much that will help. And followup once in a while to ask for their prog... Are you a Filipina? Did you know Philippine law prohibits foreign employers from hiring Filipinos directly? They can only do so through a local agency, for your own protection, because this will ... |
