| *Home>>>Operating room Nursing |
I had an interview at a hospital for patient care associate on Monday.? |
The interview went well. It only lasted roughly 20 mins. I was interviewed by 3 nurses. The main interviewer said this position isn't like the normal pca jobs. I'd mainly clean the operating room and not have too much interaction with the patients. She then referred that I apply for another position she has open for unit secretary working at a desk with her. She asked if I had any office experience....I said yes that I did filing and I'm very good with computers...word...excel etc. She said I'd tell ppl where to go etc, and do some patient care as well. Where I work environmental personnel clean the operating room, the unit secretaries do not really have pt. contact. The unit secretaries are busy contacting doctors, posting cases, etc. as far as" telling people where to go" it might be you telling the doctor or other people what room their case is in. Apply for the other position. It sound more like something you should like if your a nurse. Why would you want to clean up after people anyways. Being interactive is much better than cleaning. cool you are lucky, good luck! |
