If i anonymously report my ex g-friends marijuana use to her employer can i get in trouble?

will i be clear if they give her a drug test and she fails? what would happen if she passes? i want to do it anonymously but she would probably know it was me that reported her anyway. she is an operating room nurse that periodically smokes dope and i think her employer ought to know. would you want someone like her to be your operating room nurse? would you want this person working on a close relative of yours? what should i do?

According to a google search 95 million Americans have tried marijuana and 14 million smoke it regularly. You won't get in trouble, but you know it's morally wrong to do this to her. She'll lose this job and will have problem finding another. I don't know what she did to you, but it can't be so awful that you are justified in creating such havoc for another human being. Have you no sense of personal ethics or morality?

Very mature. I like the way you stood up like a man and faced her with out calling anonymously. Oh wait, you didn't do that did you.

Sounds like both of you have serious problems.

Best of luck in your future counseling. Report It

It sounds like it didn't bother you until she was your ex. How will you feel if you don't tell? How will you feel if you do?

It should be reported, but would you be doing this if you where still going out with her? Maybe you should anonymously warn her first.

Stop being the morality police you RAT.

Anonymously means they dont know you.....so you will be str8. If you say something, you damn right they will drug test her. I wouldn't want somebody high working on me. But I dont snitch on anybody who blowin.....cuz if you put the shoe on the other foot....its messed up.

You should let it go. Why insist on trying to bring misery to someone else's life? You should focus on your own life and trying to make yourself happy.

How could you get into trouble? If you DO tell them, just say you suspect her of it, so if she fails, it's no big deal.

Even if she finds out it was you, you won't get in legal trouble if it's true. If they test her and it's not true, the you might be liable for a claim of defamation.

Lots of nurses smoke cigarettes and drink too!

Go on with your life and let her live hers.

You would be sorry that you did it later.

Nurses don't make terrible medical accidents happen doctors do.

you wont get in trouble but that's a real asshole thing to do. Obviously you didn't do this when you were together so you don't really care about the people in the operating room you want revenge... so don't pretend you're doing it for a better cause.

Iam sure glad your not my boyfriend. Why would you wont her to loss her job and licence to be a nurse. there are other ways to get her to stop .Don't ruin her life she will never get a job nursing again

If she's not high at work, I don't really care what she does with her spare time, and neither should you (it's not like she's on PCP or something). Grow up and mind your own business - and I really mean that with the utmost respect.

The only reason you would do that is to get back at her for breaking up with you so never mind the altruistic excuses.

Why make the poor girl's life miserable just to make some pointless point.

Get on with your life and leave her alone. I'll take my chances with her tending to me in the OR. Do you know how many alcoholics there are in the health care profession? I don't have any problem with someone who "periodically" has a puff.

The mere fact that you plan to turn her in anonymously suggests that you aren't too sure of this, yourself.

C'mon....let it go.

I would not have the least concern about her being my OR nurse, as long as she wasn't high at the time...and you're not saying she's smoking in the operating room...what you are very clearly saying is that she made you mad so you want to get back at her...grow up! And remember, your little petty plan might back fire on you when she calls YOUR boss. And, I'd be willing to bet she wouldn't do it "anonymously", which is another way to say you are a coward! Are you ready to take the same test?

Wow.

First of all, this sounds like revenge. That's no good. Second of all, let company policy dictate whether or not her company finds out about her drug use. Because you want to do it anonymously, they probably won't take you seriously anyway. However, if they tested her as a result and she passed and could prove it was you who contacted her employer, she may very well be able to sue you.

She's an ex. You've got no business involving yourself in her affairs. As long as she's not smoking at work, she's not endangering anyone. Revenge is no good for the karma, buddy.

As for the rest - I would not be concerned about someone who "periodically smokes dope" being my operating room nurse. Odds are, she isn't high at work, so what do I care what she does outside of work? Frankly, I'd have more cause for concern if a drinker was my operating room nurse, as alcohol usage has a real affect on the body. Ever tried to work with a hangover?

You could let it go and move on, which I feel you really should,

or

You could be a man and stand up in her presence at the hospital and tell what you know. Grow some or get over it!

Don't be vindictive. Just let it go. It's obviously not effecting her work and it's none of your business anyway

You didn't report her when she was your girlfriend, but now that you've broken up, you suddenly think she's a danger to her patients? Be honest with yourself. What would you think of somebody else who snitched on an ex-lover for revenge? What will you think of yourself if you do that?

If you do that you are nothing. Even to have an idea like that makes you a grassing little rat. Don't do it you jealous little tart. Leave her alone and get on with your own life.
