could you please identify equipment unique to the pediatric E.D and determine whenit is used would be indicated? Do you mean unique as opposed to the adult ED, or unique as opposed to other places in the hospital?
Pediatric ED would need to have specially sized equipment, like laryngoscopes, endotracheal tubes, and smaller IV catheters, maybe microdrip IV sets. They also have those velcro boards to strap kids to - papoose boards.
There would likely be a pediatric crash cart with a Broselow tape and color coded resuscitation stuff:
