What are the attrations of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner?

Good pay and you get to work with kids.

My Daughter's Step Mom is a Nurse Practitioner. She makes really great money and can do all of the things a doctor can do except write prescriptions. It's hard on her when a child dies or has something severly wrong with them.

Nurse Practitioners enjoy unprecedented autonomy, authority, income, and job satisfaction. They can practice independently and yes they can and DO write prescriptions in all 50 states.
