How much money would i make being a pediatric nurse?? |
How much money would i make being a pediatric nurse?? it depends on a lot. are you working in a hospital or a private practice? what part of the country do you live in? how much experience do you have? what kind of education (beyond your certification) do you have? Probably the same as an RN 50000 a year About $35.00 per hour. Its good money and this figure that I gave you is a minimum amount really. It is the basic acute care rate. If you went with the Flying Nurses and went mobile traveling all over the United States you would make about $45.00 hour. But please remember that the stress of the career you are choosing is awful. Stress in not good for the body but some people thrive on it. Not me! Count me out, but you might be the one who loves it. Good Luck. you want a round figure dont you?it depends alot on the state and county your going to work in.also hospital size and the population of women who are at child bearing age.i do have a female friend who worked in pediatrics years ago and 23 bucks an hour aint bad.now she would make about 33 to 37. experience is a plus.now if you reside in los angeles or new york where the population is gigantic you could make 80k a year or more. overtime is a plus for making the big bucks |
