Is it possible to be both a pediatric nurse and a midwife? |
I tried and I cannot choose between the two so I was wondering if I could be both. Yes, you can be both. You need to be trained in both fields. Absolutely you can be both! Good for you, they're both excellent career choices and they complement each other to a certain degree so combining them would be perfect. Hard, but yes by all means it is possible, the hard part would be having to work two jobs instead of one!! I guess you could. You could work as a pediatric nurse without actually getting a specialty degree in the area and focus on obtaining your masters degree in Nurse Midwifery. But then in the end, you'd have to work two jobs, and why would you want to put yourself through that? |
