Is anyone a pediatric nurse online? |
My two year old just did a 180 turn from the bed to the floor and has a huge golf ball lump on her head. She screamed until I gave her calpol, but she fell to sleep straight away, although she had been up all day and was needing a sleep before that. I dont know about concussion , should I wake her up every few hours or what should I do? I worked peds for several years, why do you ask? As a career? I hope everything is okay... you can try calling 1-800-Ask a nurse or your local hospital emergency room or trusted pediatritian. You can also check Webmd.com or babycenter.com etc depending on the seriousness. me |
