Depends on how many hours worked and what kinda salary options. Traveling nurses make more money on Contractual basis. There are also sign on bonuses that are made by staying a year or more. My wife is a pediatric nurse and she started working at the hospitals making about $25.00 hour. Plus overtime. Now she is a Pediatric Nurse Supervisor Administrating making about $45,000 a year. However she only works 32 hours a week and has a very flexible work schedule.
