About how much do pediatric nurse practitioners make in a year? |
About how much do pediatric nurse practitioners make in a year? unfortunately that is a tough ? to answer... 6 digits easy Depends on how many hours worked and what kinda salary options. Traveling nurses make more money on Contractual basis. There are also sign on bonuses that are made by staying a year or more. My wife is a pediatric nurse and she started working at the hospitals making about $25.00 hour. Plus overtime. Now she is a Pediatric Nurse Supervisor Administrating making about $45,000 a year. However she only works 32 hours a week and has a very flexible work schedule. There is a great deal of regional variation in nurse practitioner salaries and variation based on practice setting (inpatient, outpatient, acute care, chronic care), but the national average starting salary is about $55,000 and goes up with experience. |
