What does a pediatric nurse practitioner do?

more or less what do pediatric nurse practitioners do? and on average how much do they get paid a year? whats the difference between them and doctors?

nurse practitioners do a lot of things doctors do. They get paid much better than RNs and BSNs, but not as much as doctors. I'd say about $40/hr, but it depends on where you live and where you work. They can prescribe and basically do most things doctors do.

PS: Thank you for leaving that comment on my question about the guy wanting so bad to kiss me...
Yeah, he did want to get into my pants!! That's kinda dissgusting when I think about it because I see him everyday and we still talk and text about the class we are in together right now. oooh. I got goose bombs when I really understood what it ment... Thanks again for the comment :)

A NP is an RN with a masters degree that has specialized in pediatrics. With your masters you can own up to 51% of you business, although you must work under a doctors license. An MD makes 3-4 times more than an NP & has a lot more liability & education. You can check out salary.com for salaries in your area.
