What is the difference between a pediatric nurse and a pediatric nurse practionier? |
i want to be a pediatric nurse but for some reason whenever i research what it is, ''practionier'' is at the end of the word. so what are the differences, which one is better, what do they do that are the same and different, what are their pros and cons? any info would be appreciated. thank you. A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse who specialized in pediatric nursing and then went onto a Master's degree as an NP. They do advanced work in pediatrics and internships much like Pediatricians. NP's can make more money, have more liability and can open their own offices for practicing, usually they work under the supervision of a physician. |
