What are the worst parts of pediatric nursing? And the best?

What are the worst parts of pediatric nursing? And the best?

The best of pediatric nursing is the children and how you can make a difference in their life. The worst part is watching a child pass knowing there is nothing you can do to prevent it. Good luck honey, God bless and put angels on your pillows.

I'm a nurse. When one of them die and the best is seeing them recover from whatever was bothering them. I think drawing blood from the head of them can be difficult if a person has no practice. But death is the worse, I can handle everything else. Take care.

For me if was difficult to see the victims of abuse. Also, it can be extremely difficult to deal with the parents. Some were totally uninvolved....and some needed to find a life outside of their child. When I went into nursing (a LONG time ago ) I thought I wanted to do peds....after doing it I prefered other areas.
