Pediatric Nursing?!? |
Hey. I've been a pediatric nurse for 8 years and I LOVE IT!! I highly recommend it! It's a ton of fun! Advantage about peds nursing vs adults: 1) it's easier to change a diaper on a kid than a 300lb adult. 2) you can bribe a kid, you can't usually bribe and adult. 3) adults think being in the hospital is an inconvenience, kids don't. 4) you rarely have to detox a kid...I could go on and on. Sure, you do have to deal with some not so great parents, but if they get way out of control, you can kick them out of the room! |
