Premiership Players - How damn mean are they?

lets hope that they and their families get good private medical care. I could not believe it today when i read that practically all of the Reading and Fulham teams players have donated one days pay to help nurses......the only person to have donated at Arsenal is Thierry, bless him, not one person from Chelsea, and only three from Man Utd. Would one days pay really make any difference to any of those players. Fulham and Reading players lead by example, their wages are probably not even a quarter of the other premiership players...yet still they dig deep.

yeh...giggs is back....OK OK, three man u, were Fergie, giggs and nevill, pompey, who give a flying fig....and it didnt report fizzy pop league clubs.....but im sure all my players donated at least 2 days each.....COME ON YOU REDS...3 games left.....can we get back into the playoff zone.....

Maybe these players give money to other causes! Just because they earn mega bucks does not mean they should give to every charity/cause that comes along.

They should take a leaf out of Dirk Kuyt's book (Liverpool). He has set up his own charity with his wife and all money from sponsorship deals goes into it. What a nice bloke.

You are right in the fact that one days wage would not alter their lives too much but just because they did not donate to this particular cause doesn't mean that they don't donate to other causes or charities or even have their own personal charities to run. Well done to those players from those teams for doing that and though they are grossly underpaid in the profession in general, there are others people and families worse off that players may choose to support.

these players give money to develop their home countries and their local towns, cut them some slack

On a related theme I know a Bolton W manager who put 拢100 behind the club bar one evening for his parties drinks and at the end of the evening waited 10 minutes to get his 18p change from the barman who had to work the existing balance out on the till!

who are the 3 UNITED players, and have you deliberatly missed out the saints and pompeys players ?

what a stupid question or is it just to slag off utd players, how do you know what the man utd team do with there hard earned cash ? i bet every one of them sponsors some good cause, crazy.........glory , glory ,..............
