ok, im 13 & my mom is pregnant. im in a wheelchair & rely on my mom 2 help me get dressed/ go to bathroom. (im a girl) anyway my moms hiring a nurse 2 help me go 2 the bathroom/ get dressed cause she's pregnant & wont be able 2 carry me as the pregnancy progresses. im a little nervous cause the bathroom is kind of private & i dont want a strange women looking "down there 2 help me with the bathroom. is this smart 4 my mom 2 do & wat can i do 2 calm down? ok hunny. Your mum obviously cant do it on her own with her being pregnant so i guess its the best thing to do for her and for u. I guess if you have any other females in your family, who you would rather help u, then i guess you should bring that up. Nurses are trainned to give the patient their dignity so i think the nurse will be ok and if she knows your situation then things will be fine. Once the nurse gets to know you and you get to know her then u will build that trust up between you, which will help u over come any fears you may have about her taking you to the bathroom and stuff. Dont worry hun. take care and i hope it works out for you xx aww good luck : ) and tell ur mom congrats for me haha lol and i understand that u feel uncomfortable ... i would to .... maybe u should talk to ur mom about how u feel im sure she would understand if shes willing to hire a nurse to help u : ) it will be ok, |
