How thorough should a testicular exam be?

I went to the doctor for a physical about a year ago. It was a new experience for me being i havent had my privates checked by a female nurse. When it came time for her to exam my privates she just had me drop my pants and she looked at my penis and testicals. My testes were not even examined, being felt for lumps and what not. Is it just me, or should exams maybe be more thorough? What is to happen if im not performing a self exam correctly and I'm missing something? Should I be expecting a better exam next time?

I think the new procedure is for the women doctors to juggle your beanbag in her mouth for about 20 minutes or so and see if she can feel a lump. I think next time you go in you should ask her to teabag you. Just kidding but I imagine that by law there is supposed to be a male nurse or dr in the room to protect the dr that is examining you. Can you imagine how easy a lawsuit would be ? You walk out acting upset and make a scene and then go to an attorney and tell the lawyer your female dr put your penis in her moutn and you jumped up and left. There would be witnesses that you left upset and then there would or could be a huge lawsuit. I actually think that it is a law that if someone from the opposite sex is examining your stuff, there must be another same sex as examinee in the room someplace.

She was probably just freaked out because your testes were the size of raquet balls.

Was the nurse hot? LOL! You should ask these questions while you are in the office and a nurse is probably not qualified to examine your testicles (unless she's a nurse practitioner). Good luck with getting the hot nurse next time!

That nurse probably have touch, squeezed or even tried so many testis that she cannot be bothered to touch anymore. Just kidding.

Your testes at that time was probably quite tight and so maybe she thought that as long as she doesn't see any abnormal lumps then it's okay.

Give you an example: Is it easier to see your flaccid penis when you are in briefs or boxers? It's the same theory.

I had my testicular exam two years ago, when I was 12, in school. The nurse was pressing my testis so hard that it hurt.
