Why is it that many Republicans don't like or trust McCain?

I do not know about the special prisoner thing. Isn't that like the Swift boat thing or something. I do watch C-SPAN on a regular basis and untill here recently. Republicans at least a majority did not like McCain. But Republicans also do not like losing to Democrats will be interesting to see the if they let him run his style of campaigning and be the John McCain, that we liked in 2004 and he also has his own core of media that love them. Who are they going to choose

remember when we let the federal government run a TANK into the Davidian compound in Waco, even though they had solid intelligence that children and peaceful objectors were inside. American citizens. American CHILDREN. and the federal government tries to run over them with a TANK??? utilizing a federal police agency (ATF) that had no constitutional jurisdiction to even effect an arrest in this case.

Ron Paul is the only candidate that seems to believe the Constitution was meant to be taken seriously. Thats why the 2nd amendment was even included... the constitution never gave authority of federal firearm regulation, much less create a federal firearm enforcement national police force. if you'd have even mentioned such nonsense to Adams he'd have shot you as a traitor
